​Summer 2025-26 Junior SOCIAL Trials - U12s to U19s Boys and Girls and 'Come and Try' for U10s Boys and Girls:
​
Registering for the trials gives us an idea of how many people are likely to register to play in the Summer 2025-26 competition in each age group and their previous experience with basketball, which then helps us allocate players to appropriate divisions and teams within each age group.
​
Attendance at trials is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged for the above reasons.

Tuesday 9 and 16 September at Throsby School Gymnasium:

Wednesday 10 and 17 September at Harrison School Gymnasium:

Summer 2025-26 Competition Registration:
To be able to play in the Summer competition, players need to be registered in PlayHQ, the official site for Basketball ACT competitions (fixtures, game day results, player statistics, etc).
​
Club registration fees are set based on the team nomination fees set by Basketball ACT and Club administration costs (singlets, training court hire and other ad hoc costs).
​
As part of registration, players must also pay a Basketball ACT membership and Game Day levy (this is paid directly to Basketball ACT at time of registration).
​
The fees for the Summer season are as follows*:
Club Fees - U10s (Boys and Girls) - $240.00
Club Fees - U12s to U19s (Boys and Girls) - $280.00
BACT Fees - $70.61 (additional to Club fees)
* A 15% sibling discount is applied where more than one child from the same family (using the same PlayHQ profile) registers to play.

The 2025 Gungahlin Flames Basketball Club Inc. Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held 8 September 2025, from 7pm to 7.45pm at Eastlake Football Club, 51 Hinder Street Gungahlin.

Member Engagement Session:
A member engagement session will be held just before the AGM, on 8 September 2025, commencing at 6pm (same location). This is your opportunity to seek further information from the Club about it's operations and provide input into the future direction and operations of the Club.
We'll also be presenting a draft constitution - this is the Club's first constitution and represents a step forward in the maturity of the governance of our Club, which has been operating under the ACT Model Rules since its incorporation.
